Stephen began working in the Lloyd’s Market in 1974. He was a reinsurance underwriter for 14 years and served on the Lloyd’s Non Marine Association Reinsurance Sub Committee for five years. He was a director of Beazley Furlonge and Hiscox Managing Agency and in 1991 he joined the RWS Members’ Agency as a director. Between 1991 and 2000 he was a non executive director of Cox Syndicate Management Ltd, a Lloyd’s approved ‘Peer Review’ underwriter for Cox.  He became a founding equity director of Falcon Agencies Ltd in 1994. Stephen is ACII qualified and holds an SII Certificate in Securities. He was appointed to his current position at HAL in 2002.
