Neil joined the Corporation of Lloyd’s in 1984, working on topical issues such as solvency, and serving on a number of Lloyd’s working parties and initiatives. In 1994 he became a Names’ director at Stace Barr which was then acquired by Amlin which, in turn, was acquired by CBS. HAL acquired the Members’ agency business of CBS in 2006 and Neil was appointed CEO of HAL in 2008. He has been a director and company secretary to a number of agencies and corporate Members during his career.
