Sarah is a chartered accountant and worked at Coopers & Lybrand (now PwC) between 1980 and 1995. In 1995, Sarah joined Lloyd's, where she held a number of positions including project managing the Reconstruction and Renewal programme, directing Lloyd’s special projects and corporate services team and directing a major restructuring programme for the Insurance Services group. She was Financial Controller from 1999 to 2001, directed run-off and open years from 2001 to 2003 and was a member of the senior executive team and franchise executive from 2000 to 2003. Sarah is a Magistrate at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court and was appointed as a non executive director of HAL in 2008.
